General versus Non-Invasive

Can someone tell me the distinction between "General Cardiology" and "Non-Invasive Cardiology"? Tks

They basically mean the same thing. At least in private practice. A general cardiologist has to have some skills to be useful to a group, and usually those are in non-invasive imaging, echo and nuclear.

But almost all cardiologists in private practice do some general cardiology, even if they are EP or inteventional. In academics, it can be different (where I work, EP doesn't do any general cards)
