I know this has been asked before but I was still wondering if anyone knows how doctors perceive a student who asks for a generic LoR? Is this more common than not or quite rare? and how do programs look at a generic letter....?


Thinking of applying to two specialties and it would be nice if one of the letters I'm getting could be used for both (this particular writer is not in either of the 2 specialties I'm considering)...
