I got my first one this morning. A lady taking the brand spanking new Par brand (the authorized generic manufactured by Merck). I was just waiting for it...I knew somebody was going to do it...and like clockwork, there it was. You guessed it...it didn't work as well. There is nothing quite like that look on their face when you show them that they are made in the same factory. That realization that, yes, they are indeed nuts. I at least respect the ones that realize it. The ones that tell me I must be wrong or that they must make it differently are the ones that amuse me more. To be fair, we didn't give the stupid little blue cases out with the tabs she got...that may have tipped her off. Thankfully, this one thanked me for sharing this objective bit of information.

That said, can some good Samaritan out there with journal access get me a copy of this:

Cephalalgia. 2011 Apr;31(5):550-61. doi: 10.1177/0333102410391485. Epub 2011 Jan 7.
Nocebo is the enemy, not placebo. A meta-analysis of reported side effects after placebo treatment in headaches.
