I dont think there could ever be peace in the middle east until the oil runs out.
Where did i say that i hate America. Dont put words in my mouth.
I dont believe the crap they say about how Iran is attacking American soldiers in Iraq.
They are also linking Iran to terrorists.
I love what SDN is turning into.

actually i dont consider hezbollah a terrorist organization. Although they blew up the military barracks in what 1982? I consider that an act of war rather than a terrorist attack.I never said you did. You have, however, made far more disturbing comments on other threads, so playing the victim isn't going to work out for you very well.
You can believe or not believe whatever you want. I certainly believe that Iran is supporing the Shi'ite insurgency. It's pretty obvious when Iranian made mines and explosives start popping up in the Mahdi Army. If I were them, I'd do it. It angers me as an American that Iran is fighting a proxy war against us, but then again, we put ourselves in this position. More fallout from George Bush's brilliant foreign policy.
I suppose that depends on if you consider Hezballah a terrorist organization or not.
You're not getting it. Any political viewpoint is valid. This is why David Duke is allowed to run on an aryan nation platform. Do I like his viewpoint? Hell, no. But does he have the right to hold and discuss these views? Hell, yes.
Any argument supporting the idea of viewpoints that shouldn't be allowed smacks of McCarthyism, which isn't as far back as most folks seem to think.
Maybe to some. For me, McCarthyism wasn't so repugnant because it was the government trying to stifle rights, but because the public bought into it. The government is constantly trampling on rights. It's what governments often do. What was repugnant about McCarthyism is that the public agreed with the idea that folks shouldn't have the right to alternative opinions or alternative speech.1) McCarthyism was repugnant because it was government that was attempting to stifle civil discourse.
It doesn't. And I I didn't say every viewpoint is acceptable, just that everyone is free to have it. I'm not sure where you're getting this stuff. You may have me confused with another poster.2) In the process of telling me any viewpoint is acceptable, shouldn't that include viewpoints that geneticclone is a *****? Why does "tolerance" necessary mean "acceptance" to you?
Yikes, you're easily stifled. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. We just have a different point of view is all. To each their own. Thanks for trying to stifle my viewpoint.
1. Ahmedinejad is saying that the Allies made up the Holocaust as an excuse to embarrass the defeated Germans further, in a letter to the German chancellor. He offers so-called "support" to the Germans by trying to play buddy buddy with them and say that the Nazis didn't actually do all that stuff.First i have no clue wht your talking about in the first paragraph.
In the second paragraph he just says that we should be allowed to research it like every other historyical event. Also he never called a conference to discuss the existance of the holocaust.
And third he never said he wants to wipe a country off the map. The phrase does not exist in Farsi.
Hmm guess you were right about the second part. LOL Holocaust deniers.1. 3. I'm sorry, he said that the Israeli regime "must vanish from the pages of time". Is that better for you?
I'm not trying to hate on you or Palestinians; I'm just wondering how you can make and unqualified statement that says you support that man.
I think it's unfortunate that it has become de facto for government to trample on people's rights. When will people realize that libertarianism is the way to go?Maybe to some. For me, McCarthyism wasn't so repugnant because it was the government trying to stifle rights, but because the public bought into it. The government is constantly trampling on rights. It's what governments often do. What was repugnant about McCarthyism is that the public agreed with the idea that folks shouldn't have the right to alternative opinions or alternative speech.
The fact that my viewpoint of McCarthyism is different than yours, Tired, doesn't indicate a "poor understanding of history and political discourse". Just a different opinion.
It doesn't. And I I didn't say every viewpoint is acceptable, just that everyone is free to have it. I'm not sure where you're getting this stuff. You may have me confused with another poster.

Hahaha! I had to laugh at your sig. You do have cojones, man 😉.Hmm guess you were right about the second part. LOL Holocaust deniers.
I was wrong didn't know they actually had a conference with rabbis.
I find it funny that people make a fuss over nothing.Hahaha! I had to laugh at your sig. You do have cojones, man 😉.

Mods please close this thread as i already got my answer.
THanks for all you guys who answered my question.

Sorry, Tired. I didn't say everyone has to accept other people's viewpoints. Don't see that in the post and don't see how you could get that out of it. I'm really not sure where you're getting this stuff. You realy seem to be on some kind of mission here.Aw, why are you backing off your own statements? Remember this one:
Eventually you'll see a difference between "Everyone is free to hold their own views" versus "Everyone has to accept other people's viewpoints". In the meantime you're just muddling yourself up with semantics.
No problem, geneticlone.Mods please close this thread as i already got my answer.
