I always recommend Oregon State's biochem because it's taught very well and I really enjoyed it.
You might want to check and make sure online prereqs are okay for whatever schools you're applying to. I had no problems getting accepted with quite a few online courses but I'm not sure if that's true of all schools.

I'm just finishing biochem at Rutgers on Wednesday. It wasn't my first choice because it is $2900 (Gasp!!), but it allowed me to do a totally online 5 week course at the last minute. The professor offers video lectures, power points, random write ups and videos. Nothing is required but exams, BUT if your not the best test taker one test can be replaced online homework. I get the feeling the class average is a B and a A is doable if you work hard.

I took genetics online with OK state. It was about $500 with the book. It was an average science course. Read the book, answer book questions, take exams
