Genetics Certificate/Grad Program???

Hi everyone, quick question. I am currently applying 2005 and am taking this in between year to work on a molecular genetics research project. I graduated with my MPH in June (I have another thread immediately below this about that) and decided in the middle of my degree that I wanted to continue on to med school. Anyway, I did health policy in grad school and mostly on this one specific topic.. This is the same topic that the genetics lab is working on and so I'm psyched to get involved in the scientific side of it. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any short certificate or grad programs in genetics or molec bio that I could take while working in the lab? I could use the boost in hard science and I also think it will help me enormously during my time in the lab. I'll be in NYC- so does anyone know of any programs/night schools/ etc? Private or public? Thanks!!! 😍

I recieved a Master of Science in Human Genetics before I decided to go to Medical School. I feel that I learned a huge amount about genetics and genetic medicine. It made me realize the importance that genetics plays in medicine. However, that was at the Universtiy of Michigan. See if your school has a MS in Genetics or some molecular bio program.
