I am registering for classes very soon and I was wondering which class would offer the best preparation for the DAT. Genetics or Ecology or immunology?

immuno=genetics<ecology

*While genetics in important on the DAT, your intro bio classes should pretty much cover the material (hardy-weinberg, punnett squares, linked, unlinked, codominance, etc...) if you don't know this stuff than definitely take the genetics course. Ecology can be random and not covered by intro bio classes so thats why I am saying ecology.

But, I bet the order reverses in terms of which class looks better on applications

IMO, I would pick a reasonable class that can get you an A. A lot of science classes that I had in my university gave students ridiculously hard tests so I would personally recommend you to look into each teachers' ratings and what their tests look like. If GPA isn't your priority, I would take Immunology. Genetics can be important for DAT, but I feel like you can master the materials a lot easier than what Immunology class can offer you. Plus, you would be ready for dental school's immunology class.

Jackthesparrow is right,
But I think genetics and ecology would be most ideal for DAT prep. Because in the bio section they throw weird ecology questions at you, and solid genetics understanding is required for most upper level classes and DAT. Immunology would help but I think you'd be able to answer any immunology question on the DAT by reading the first 2-3 chapters of immunology book (The Immune System by Peter Parham).
