Genetics textbook recommendations?

Principles of Genetics by Snustad and Simmons. The writing has a natural flow to it, and I would say the figures are pretty good.

introduction to genetic analysis, griffiths. Fairly introductory, but its nice. Simple enough to read relatively quickly and has enough depth to extrapolate more complicated material.

I like 'Genomes' by T. Brown. You can look through the whole book at the website below. It's more molecular biology than genetic analysis though.

I'm working on a genetics independent study, and need a better textbook than what I'm using, which is Molecular Biology of the Gene by Watson, et al.

By "better", I mean:

• clearer (less wordy; less meandering, more direct, on-topic writing)
• more diagrams (and hopefully decipherable)
• less use of buzzwords without bolding/defining/identifying them as such

Does anyone have any recommendations?
