Gentics question: simple but no idea how

24. What is the sequence of linked genes D, E, F, and G,
given the following recombinant frequencies?

GE: 23% ED: 15% GD: 8% GF: 15% EF: 8% DF: 7%

A. GDFE
B. GFDE
C. EFGD
D. FGDE

So..... how am i suppose to do this.

You can do it two ways, the "best" probably is to just try each choice out and see which one doesnt violate one of the distance rules. To me that seems the fastest.

the other way is to try to figure it out like a puzzle, i enjoy these types of problems so i tend to go this route but for the purpose of hte mcat, i will use the previous method (of just looking for rule violators).
