Hello everyone! I'm new to this app. So here's my question, everyone has told me it doesn't matter where you go for undergrad but does it really not matter? I recently was accepted into George Fox's premed program with a $9000 annual scholarship, but I'm also considering OSU. I've heard they are both GREAT schools but I'm trying to figure out which is my best option. OSU Will definitely cost way less and they have a great science program but George Fox has a great acceptance rate to med school for students who do well, and they are much smaller so I feel like I would get a really good education because students work very closer with their professors. I know I can succeed at OSU and I don't need anyone to hold my hand but to work closely with professors and really get a great premed education is important to me because I really only have one shot at this. I live a very crazy life. Along with full-time schooling, I'm married with two little boys and also work full-time as a Medical assistant. Has anyone gone to either of these schools who can give me some insight?

First of all, it's 'accepted' not 'excepted'. Yes there's a huge difference and yes it matters. If you want to become a physician clear concise written communication is important.

Which one is cheaper? Unless you're super duper into the christian thing and feel compelled to go there for some reason, it's accredited, and that's about it. It's not going to be better or worse, but unless you have some higher-calling-level compelling reason to spend more to go to a university that I had to Google to find out what it was, there's really no practical reason for it unless they pay for it.

Source, other than George Fox' website?

Oops! Ha I promise I can spell. I think that was autocorrect on my phone. And thank you, this has been helpful.
