Hi everyone. First time poster here. I was searching for an answer to my question for a while before I decided that I couldn't find it on a previous thread.
I am applying to do Post-Bacc in the upcoming year and have applied to VCU CERT in Richmond, VA and George-Squared in Manassas, VA. I have already received word back from VCU's program for acceptance and I am assuming that George-Squared will give me a response soon as well.
I want to know if anyone else has had these two programs as their their options, which program they ended up choosing, and why?
Both of these schools have their positives for me. George-squared will allow me to commute from home in Northern VA. VCU was actually my undergraduate school and I just love being in Richmond.
The only thing that scares me is that George-Squared is a relatively new program (although Georgetown is a very reputable school). On their listing from AAMC, they do not list a number for students who applied and got accepted to medical school.
I also read that with a 3.5 in VCU's program and at least a 28 on the MCAT, the VCU SOM guarantees at least an interview invite.
I look forward to hearing back from you guys!
Thanks
