I think it refers either to elective programs / part of the intro to health care class. I think there are a few options to get involved with the community that you can choose from.

Edit: here is something I found on their website...
IHC I & II (Introduction to Health Care) -- Composed of a weekly lecture on the history and course of the modern health care system and small group sessions. In IHC I, there are two options for fulfilling the small group requirement: Service-Based Teams, and Campus-Based Teams. Service learning consists of going into the community with your assigned group and working on a given health promotion project. Campus learning is in small group setting, and includes case-based learning, role-play, problem-solving exercises, and discussion. In IHC II, all students choose Selectives "mini-courses" on topics such as domestic violence, alternative medicine, clinical geriatrics, nutrition, and health policy and financing. IHC lasts through several blocks.

IM a first year a Georgetown. Service learning is something that helps the students get involved with the community. A lot of the students enjoy it actually. The schedule itself is odd in a way. Yes it is shown to be 3 days a week from 3-5 but thats just a time when you can choose to do it. Overall we dedicaate 6 days out of the semester to the project. the assigned times just tells you that, it is usually done after classes and any of those time would suffice.
