Hey yall! I have heard mixed things about georgetown and its reputation. some people think its great, some people think it has an over-inflated rep... What's the real story? And I heard some things about their financial situation being not so good. This is one of the schools I am thinking about. THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS? THANK YOU!

Depends on what part of the reputation. They are amazing at getting people Ortho residency's. They also are very good at training clinicians. But they are lacking in a bunch of areas. I would say overall they have an average reputation.

Check out the thread below that talks about Georgetown's match list. There were also some threads floating around before Christmas, so do a search. There are definitely some negatives, in my opinion, but I was really drawn to their philosophy. The large class size and the cost have kind of turned me off since I've looked into it more.
