I have been trying to decide whether or not to apply this year to medical school. My GPA is on the low side and I'm trying to consider all options that are realistic. Would you consider it too late to apply to the Georgetown SMP program, or any other SMP???

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would say, in general, that it isn't too late to apply to any program, until the day that classes start.

That being said, the longer you wait, the lower chance you have of acceptance. If you are seriously considering any of the SMP or Post-bac programs, I would get your applications in ASAP.

As an example, G-town is holding an open house April 14th to convince people to apply/attend. I don't think they would schedule that type of event that late in the "season" unless there was still a very realistic chance that people could apply and be accepted. I think you should still have time most anywhere...
