Georgetown
Pros

• Ranked school
• Better research opportunities
• Has been my dream school since high school
• closer to home

Cons

• $62k in tuition + fees
• seems like a competitive environment
• expensive COL

Eastern Virginia Medical School
Pros

• Wayyyy cheaper ($35k)
• Cheaper COL
• Less stressful atmosphere

Cons

• unranked
• seemingly fewer opportunities
• few research opportunities
• further away from home

Summary: Struggling to decide if the higher cost at Georgetown is really worth it.

Georgetown. The experiences and opportunities you can get in D.C. may justify the pricetag. I found myself choosing between GW and EVMS and went with GW.
