German med schools

Hey,

I am currently a pre-med student in the US, looking to go to Med school in germany. I currently work in the OR as a surgical technologist. I'm thinking i want to go into Ortho or Anesthesia. I'm currently learning German and know that residences are not transferable between germany and US, I want to practice in EU.

What i want to know is can you practice all over EU if you have done your residency in germany?
are there better schools for Anesthesia/ Ortho?
what test is needed to get in to germany med schools?

Sounds like you need to do a lot of research.

I'd imagine you'd need to show extremely strong ties, if not German citizenship, to study medicine in Germany.
