My QBank subscription will run out tomorrow, and I've only done 21% of the questions, and read far fewer of the explanations.

My test is June 28th, so do I get an extension on QBank (for more $$$) or say screw it, and actually use all the other question sources I have but decided not to use (QBook, A&L, Rapid Review, Blueprints, NMS, etc.)? I've not been overly impressed with QBank but so many think it's great.

I don't think I need to develop test taking endurance or anything like that because I've never had problems with long tests and time is never an issue as I usually finish blocks of 50 on QBank in less than 30 minutes.

My prep hasn't been very good so far, as I went to my parents to see my brother who was visiting that I hadn't seen in a year, so that was about 10 days with no studying.

I did the CBSSA Form B today in order to scare myself into more studying and got a 460 on it. I chose to save form A for closer to my test because people say it is a better predictor.

I've got 3 weeks and my plan is to learn First Aid, BRS Phys, and Rapid Review Pathology really well as well as doing practice questions (and annotating into First Aid). I guess my question is whether to get an extension on QBank, or just go to other sources and save my money?

Borrow someone's Qbank that ordered it and has some time left but already took the exam.

If you didn't started your QBank on the first day it was available, they can extend your time for the days you didn't used it (I know of people that did this). If you started your QBank on the same day it was avaible, then you will have to pay for it again if you want to extend iit.

If your case isthe latter, just borrow a Qbank from someone else that just took the exam and has time left in their subscription.

It's overpriced, but I would say it would be one of your best tools if you could get it somehow. I think FA definitely has all the info you need, but I usually don't learn something for good unless I get it wrong on QBank, even if I just read it in FA or BRS that day (or minutes before, who am I kidding). For the record, I take the exam on Sat, I did do all of Q Bank, mainly studied from FA and BRS path for about a month, and my two NBME scores were 560(A) and 600(B), which works out to about your (and my) goal.

someone posted a link sometime back for a free qbank on some website. And, it seemd legit--in respect to the q's. Obviously no scores, but who cares--I would do that instead. Try doin' a search
