Hey guys, I have gone through 5 math destroyer exams. I am able to solve all the questions but not in 45min. The fastest i've been through an exam is an 1hr and 20minutes. Since the math destroyer is supposed to be tougher then the actual DAT, i though i would fly through an practice exam. Long story short, I was wrong. 😡
Things that i have done thus far are: (the basic stuff)
memorize simple fractions to decimals conversions
The square of all numbers up to 20
All formulas (kaplan quick sheets)
Unit conversions
My question is: What strategies are you using to increase your speed? Other studying material or sources you are using? (crack dat math, .ect)
I realize the Math destroyer is a great study tool but just doesn't help your timing with all its tricky answer choices. What i mean is(correct me if im wrong) if the questions hypothetically asks you to divide 23/40 i would quickly solve it as 20/40 or 1/2. On the dat destroyer i would get a wrong answer because the answer choices are .05 apart. I don't think i would need to worry about that on the dat(basing on the 2007 DAT).
