Hi, I took the DAT twice. the first time i got a 19/21/15 the second time i got a 19/20/17 (my english was a 17 and math was a 16) I have a 3.6 GPA and around a 3.4 science GPA Ive worked at dental clinics shadowed dentist for a while and did alot of other stuff. What are my chances of getting into dental school for 2014 year?

might be tough to get in with 19 eggs and 20 basketballs. but bringing 17 pills to the table might sweeten the pot.

cliffs: which dat sections do your scores belong to?

Most likely AA/TS/PAT

From what I've read, 19 is the national average for accepted AA's. Your GPA is less than average (but it's not terrible). With a well-rounded application, I'd say you may have a shot at this year's cycle. If you feel like you can sweeten up your DAT to 21 or 22+ you'd have an even better chance. I'm also applying this cycle, good luck!

Make sure you check the DAT cut offs for schools you apply to to make sure you're within range. 16 QR might be a problem...
