At my school, the Intro to Biology I for pre-meds is a 6-credit weed-out class, I already knew a bunch of kids who switch out of Biology because of this class. They don't even accept AP credits to replace this class, so each and every single pre-med at my school has to go through this.

Long story short, at of this point grades are not up yet but it is very likely that I'll have a B, which will significantly bring my GPA down. How bad would this be? I hate this class so much that even consider becoming a Chem major instead just so that I don't need to take the 2nd part of the class next year. What should I do? Please give me advice. Thanks!

It sounds like there's really nothing you can do except taking the grade and doing better in your other pre-reqs.

Hi bro. Do you go to Columbia by chance? If you are worried about a B on your transcript, chances are your gpa is so high a B would actually hurt you, so you probably don't have much to worry about. And, grades aren't out. So no one knows how bad anyone failed yet. ( probably grades won't be out for another 2 weeks) .
