Hi everyone,
So I got accepted to a school that I want to attend but I had already sent a deposit to a different school. Has there anyone out there that got a refund for a deposit they sent out, or at least a partial refund? If anyone knows about Roseman's policy then please let me know!
Thanks all

I doubt it's going to happen. Just think of it as an investment because there is a reason why the deposits are there in the first place. It safe guards schools to secure the proper number of students a year and forces those with multiple acceptances to give others a chance to get into the d-school of their choice. In the end, everyone will go to only one, so no point in holding multiple acceptances unless you are very rich.

Forget it....it says"non refundable"4a reason

good luck but i don't think you have much of a chance. when someone backs out it causes more work for admissions folks and they aren't about to give you a refund for making their lives tougher

It can be done, you just have to offer something that they can't refuse. Use imagination.

See if your check has been cashed...if not cancel it...or try a chargeback on a credit card...It is not fair for you to expect it back...but there are ways to get it back

Most schools offer non-refundable deposits, however some do refund the deposit. Contact the individual schools to find out.

Good advice!

No u won't, that's the whole reason they take deposits

If they stated that it was "non refundable"or if they never mentioned a partial refund, then you're probably out of luck. But of course, to confirm you can always contact the school.

If they haven't cashed the check yet, call them up and ask them to shred it. Even if they say yes, you should still cancel the check though. It worked for me!

You should hope that your future patients will not be as savvy after you finished procedures worth a few Ks.

I think it's messed up if you do this haha. However, is there anything they can do to punish you for doing this? Just curious.
