getting a tatoo when i get accepted

It's march and still no acceptances is starting to make me feel that it's gonna take a miracle of some sort to pull through this cycle. People get tatoos to mark some sort of important event in life or a transition. I think this ordeal qualities as both. I am also pagan, so it would a mark to a patron god of mine. Anyone else having similar thoughts?

Yes, I was up all night thinking about how you should get a tattoo if accepted 😛 Hang in there, it's only March 4.
 
I have always wanted to get the caduceus symbol on my forearm for medicine. The "fiery serpent" staff symbol the AMA uses 🙂
 
I want to get a tramp stamp of the sun rising above the waistband of whatever I'm wearing on my lower half.

i'm legitimately thinking of getting "do no harm" on my bicep

or even on my watch wrist
 
If you're going to get one, just make sure it's in a location that's not a pain in the butt to cover up. Generally in professional settings exposed tattoos are a big no no.

You should do the "do no harm" somewhere a little less noticeable, like down your side?
 
I recommend putting your girlfriend's name on the side of your neck. Shows commitment, who can argue with that?
 
I'm going to shave my chest and get a big bald eagle tattoo with a big W in the background!

i only used EK materials to study for the mcat, and i always swore that if i got above a 35 i would get Salty the Kracker tattooed on my ass.

Is your name a reference to The Secret Garden? I thought that book was totally badass when I was a kid...I was always hoping I secretly had a rich uncle with a gigantic empty mansion to explore.
 
I told a friend once that if I went to HMS, I would get a tramp stamp of the veritas shield.
 
I told my best friend I would get a Q tattooed somewhere on me if I got a Q on my MCAT. I got the Q but not the tat.


I think someone should get "Do no harm" tattooed across their knuckles.

I would recommend a caduceus on your forehead. Shows more commitment than one just on the forearm.
 
Oh, I know a 4th-year Pagan/Aztec/wtf medical student! He has like a half sleeve and something across the entire shoulders. He's kinda scary, but in a "really buff and can beat me up" sort of way.

i was gonna get a runic sign on the inside of my wrist in white. then i was like nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i will just write it in sharpie til i get bored

And then you realize how useless she is for anything that involves an armor, shield, or barrier. Which is everything. Just take her Warp Ammo and toss her in the corner :x
 
I had a friend call me when he graduated high school to tell me he got a tattoo of a bear claw.

I was like "wtf? you got a tattoo of a pastry? no wonder you're fat." Then he hung up on me.

Two years later, when I graduated high school, I called him and told him I got a tattoo of a doughnut hole...just a big brown spot...then he told me to go f*** myself.😀

Yeah, she was truthfully kind of useless to me, as I was playing a Vanguard (DAYUM!). Plus, I think she thought I hit on her once and she wouldn't talk to me anymore.

o my! If i get an acceptance letter then Im getting a tattoo of a rose on my thigh. or maybe a tramp stamp of a angel with a halo. (ironic right).

👍 Maybe not forearm though. I have the caduceus but it's on my shoulder. I got it when I was 18.

I've always wanted to get a portrait tat of my mom's senior picture. I just don't know where to put it that it wouldn't be awkward in certain situations.
