getting around NYC...i need help

what is the cheapest and easiest way to get from columbia to JFK?

i want to use the subway if at all possible.

the A goes door-to-door 168th street to JFK, but it will take a while to get there (more than 1 hr i think)

you can catch the subway line to port authority and take a bus to JFK...i think thats about 12 bucks....or you could take the A line (i forgot to wehre) and take the air-tran thats like 9 bucks...loook those two options up ur best bets goood luck
