...even though the summer is over. A pharmacy school just started 20 min from my house, and my school is only 40 min away from that school. When I asked about a position to my district supervisor (I am temporary summmer intern), she said that 14 students from the new school already applied for intern jobs who were already working with the company although not in pharmacy. I haven't heard back from them..even though I asked about that about 2 weeks ago.

Just wanted to vent here. New school opening around my house.. 👎

Don't give up and be persistent. Go to pharmacies in person, dressed professionally and bring your resumer. Follow up. It will happen for you eventually. Everyone in my class was in a panic this spring looking for summer intern work and I think just about everyone who wanted a job has one (and a lot of us have two).
