Getting into med school with misdemeanor

Has anyone here gotten into med school with a misdemeanor or expunged record? If so could you please elaborate on your story?

I did with an expunged misdemeanor. Most schools don't require you to report it and it didn't appear in my background check from the school.

Depends on what it is. Something recent and of moral turpitude will be a hard sell.

I have a 10 yo traffic unexpunged misdemeanor and I'm doing fine this cycle.

It happens. Not all misdemeanors are created equal.
