Here;s the skinny:
I have a 2.8 gpa, my science gpa is slightly lower, however my grades improved throughout the years (Pretty much straight B's my last two years, Yeah i know still not great 🙁 ). My mcat score is still pending since I took it this last April. I have two years of research experience and I have done tutoring and Outreach. I have volunteered at a local trauma center and i am currently working full time and studying for the mcat (just in case, which i plan to take in august. Worst case scenario) In addition, every other week i shaddow a physician.

In the end with a good personal statment what are my chances?

Yes im sure people who look at this hate these questions, but im s*!@##(*& a brick over here just thinking about it.

Thanks for all your input and time to read this.

Apply. You'll never know for sure until you do. It doesn't matter what anyone here says. None of us are on the admissions committees.

Good luck.

surgeon's hands...u gotta apply and see what happens. By the way, the Owl found you! 😍

When I applied to Saba back in 1997 I had similar stats and got in. Over the years it has become more competetive though (or so I am told). Getting cali approval will likely make it even more competetive.

Good luck and keep it real.
