Congrats to the OP. I got married in a small ceremony during a busy month of Peds. I think you can't put things off during rotations, because, well what's your other option, getting married during residency?
A medical career will always be busy and there is no perfect time to do any of those other major life events i.e. marriage, kids, etc.
I got married in December my third year, took August off for boards, took boards in early August, went on my honeymoon, then came back and started cardiology in Sept and did my PE. It worked.
I say, unless you're having a huge wedding that will require lots of planning and rehearsal, and unless you're planning on taking a honeymoon immediately, just go for it.
