my friend is considering applying to australian med school.
i did some research, and it seems that many us students do goto australian med schools, then take the usmle.
my question is, are there any disadvantages to matching into a residency if you are a foreign med school graduate?
if you are
1)caribbean med school graduate
2)other foreign countries like australia
which is more disadvantageous?
does any have any info on this matter? i searched the threads and havent found anything on australian med schools.
thanks~
