I had a few questions for those of you who are getting interviews:

1. How are you getting notified? (Phone, e-mail, regular mail?)

2. If by phone, do they also send a letter in the mail as an official document?

3. How long after you submitted your secondaries and application was complete did you receive interviews?

Thanks..I appreciate it!

UNC and Marquette called me (actually my parents house and then left a message). I received a letter from Case and Penn

CASE and NOVA invites are via regular mail. Both required the applicant to call the schools to either schedule or confirm your interview date. I would say, after the completion of secondries, the schools get back on the applicant for an interview invitation within 3 weeks at the most, in some cases maybe longer depending on if there is something unusual pops-up... like Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeane or Nova 😀... wait a sec, Nova is a school that narrowly missed all these hurricanes.

Good Luck

All three TX schools send letters by postal mail.

What does "bump" mean? And how do you double quote some two different post's? (Sorry might not be in the right thread to ask this.)

I have received phone calls and letter's from all except UNLV, which just sent a letter. I have noticed to that the schools I applied to don't keep the infosource up to date. Can other school's see infosource for all the school's posting info or just their school? I would assume only their school if they can't see that you have applied to other's on the AADSAS form.

Can some one help a newbie (to post's) out? Thanks.

BUMP means "Bring up my post". Whenever you respond to a thread it automatically gets bump up to the first thread. People normally do this if they want to finish dicussing a thread.

How long did it take to hear from schools after you submitted your secondaries?

I submitted my AADSAS June 10th, got confirmation that the app was sent in early July, got postcards from schools asking for money/secondaries soon after...got my secondaries out the last week of July, and most of my interview invites were during this past week (first week of October), although I think I got an interview invite from Nova the first week of September. So, I'd say about 1-2 months after submitting my secondaries.

Dentist 2 be: You only received a letter from NYU? No phone call?

Also, how long after your application was complete (application fee, LOR, transcripts etc.) did you get the letter of invite for interview?

Thanks and good luck

I received several secondaries in July and August. I got about 7 of them, including all the TX's schools with the exception of Houston.

I still haven't got a secondary from them and Colorado. (That's for 13 schools.)

4 interviews scheduled or completed to date. (creighton doesn't interview.)

Interview invites varied. My first one was in Aug. with AZ about 2 weeks after the secondary. Same with U of Penn.

NYU and UF are through mail...although UF called me before I got my letter to schedule the interview. I also had a few emails from UF

On top of that. UF called me at 6:30a to let me know of my acceptance. Weird over there.

via snail mail

about 2 weeks after my entire application was completed (had issues with my college sending in the LORs). completed early august, got first interview invite mid/late august.
