Just a hypothetical situation - what happens if I get offers off of more than one waitlist? Say... I get a big glorious Yes from a school in June, and I accept the offer, but then I get another offer from my favorite school in the world in July. Am I allowed to change my mind?

Yes. They are supposed to give you a time frame, usually 2 weeks, to decide. You can get off as many waitlists as you want until you attend an orientation.

As a corollary, I would add that you can only hold one spot during this time. You must notify the previous WL acceptance that you are changing your plans.
