Hello everyone! We have recently formed a small work group with some editors of peer-reviewed medical journals. Basically what we do is write narrative reviews, systematic reviews and meta-analyses for medical journals thereby making the student an author on them. We work by pairing a medical student with an editor of a medical journal and the medical student assists the editor in writing articles and (if the student is interested) also in editing the medical journal. The editors therefore get assistance on their work (they're busy people!) while the students become authors on the papers and if they assist on the editorial activities, they get a certificate from the journal as well. Our work group basically pairs these medical students and editors up. We already have a few pairs but we want to broaden our group further to enhance mutual benefit.
