Well I'm just now getting started to take prereqs for Pharmacy school. I have pretty much wasted the past year doing computer science, but I got bored with it and decided to go with something that I have been interested in for a while now.

I have read around about the admission requirements for different schools and they are almost all close to the same thing: Interview, PCAT, set of classes, good GPA, more things I can't think of.

Anyways, I am starting classes next semester. Over break I will be starting to study for the PTCB and will take the exam soon since I hear it doesn't take much studying. Afterwards, I'll be applying to part time pharmacy tech jobs and continue to take my pre reqs and take the PCAT and apply.

Does this sound like a good plan? I'm just really worried I will not get into the school that I am planning on attending, ETSU.

Sounds like a pretty good plan to me, but I always tell people that in many states you don't have to be certified to get a tech job. Find out about the laws of your state, obviously, but if you can get a job first, you might be able to get your employer to pay for you to take the test after six months or something like that.

I live in SouthWest Virginia. ETSU is about 1 hour away from me.
