well i took the train to penn station from nj, then i think i took the shuttle to grand central, and the 6 train up to the bronx. then there's a bus that goes to albert einstein. this took some time and some waiting so on the way back i took the express bus which is right in front of aecom and is what they suggest. it's kind of out there and far away from manhattan so it depends where you're coming from.
BxM10 from Madison Avenue to Morris Park. Get on between 51st and 52nd. Cost is $5 in change or on your metrocard, which you can buy in any subway station.
So what time did the interview end, exactly? Or is this dependent on when your interviews are scheduled? What time should I book the flight to return home?
If you're near midtown at all (for non new yorkers, if you're coming into grand central or port authority), I think the easiest and most direct way is to take the Express Bus BxM10 - it literally drop you off across the street from the admissions building - here's the website for the schedule and drop off/ pick up points and times :

you could call and ask if your interview is in the morning or the afternoon. for the morning people, you can leave after lunch with the students and a short tour. my interview was in the afternoon after lunch/tour. because there's only one interview, i remember i was done pretty early, maybe around 2~2:30pm. you'll have to find out how long it will take you to get to the airport from AECOM to figure out the best time to book your flight though.
