Hey guys, I know I am borderline low on my stats,I have been submitting extra letters, essays, and any thing I can think of. now it is a waiting game.

so my question is, if everything does not work out and I return to school to up my current gpa (3.2) by getting a masters how does that work. I know the score starts over so if i GOT 3 A's it would be a 4.0 but will they only look at those scores.....some one please tell me how this would work I am a bit confused.
thanks
Eric 👍

on a side note......I am waiting to get in 17/17/18

That's a tough one... what kind of masters? in science? Will it be done by the time you matriculate next year? Is your degree non-science? My degree was non-science and what I decided to do to make my app. more competitive is I took a few upper div. science classes that were not a requirement, rather preferred by most d-schools. I think adcoms want to see whether you can handle a tough load of science, since school will be full of that during the first 2 yrs. especially if you GPA is lower.

This is my back up plan, I was told by schools I have a chance to get in with my scores, and I quote the Dat scores are good but the GPA would be nice higher, so my thinking is if I do not get accepted anywhere get my masters and reapply while going for my masters. I just wanted peoples insight on this.
