Does gift shop volunteering at a hospital count as medical or non-medical volunteering? Thanks

Non-clinical, but I’d honestly hesitate putting that on your app as primary non-clinical volunteering tbh.

Non-medical. You have to be interacting with patients in a patient setting for it to be medical.

just to clarify, do put it on your app, but make sure you have another primary non-clinical where you’re helping the underserved. Gift shop is a fine volunteering position, but it’s at the end of the day being a volunteer cashier.

Unless of course your gift shop lets you do much more...
