I'm trying to put together a study on new developments in dental surgery and practice. What I'm really looking for are links to sites showing new products and instruments. I've had some success already, and have come across some particularly interesting devices and gadgets for just about any dental operation. If you can help, or just want to share an idea, leave a message.

Thanks

Cathal

Hey! Oddly enough, there's a new product on the european market that was created by a dentist in southern France, believe it or not, that could indeed be of interest to you.
It's a tool used for removing crowns and bridges, that actually allows you to keep the prosthesis wholely intact without forcing on the surrounding teeth.
I've been using it for some months now and I must say that I find it extremely helpful.
I read about it in a French magazine (I'm Swiss) but I'd say that you should look on the website.
Tell me what you make of it. It could be an interesting topic for your paper.

Thanks for the help. What an ingenius idea? I would have never thought for a second that crowns could be removed so easily without damaging the prosthesis. It means that even old crowns can be removed and replaced instantly.

Thanks once again

Cathal

Guillaume,
There's an interesting link on the pre-dental forum. It leads to a dentaltown.com page. It gives a detailed removal summary with photos and additional comments.

I looked it today. Very interesting. It was very reviewed. They like it. Maybe I'm not the only one that likes it. Wamkey is becoming popular!

Hey gponcin!
A guy responded to my post on the 'DENTAL' forum. He's talking about some new instruments that WAM are making. Check it out!
