girl interview - black dress suit...purse?

I am wearing a black dress suit with a white, mildly ruffley white shirt, black heels.

Bring a purse/handbag/clutch? If yes, what colors/prints/size are appropriate?

I am trying to find a way to bring some color or depth to my outfit.

IMO, if it's a real purse... nothing humongous. lol. Any subtle color or fabric as long as it matches your suit.
But if you plan to bring a notebook or something, I'd get a professional tote bag... one with dimensions around 15"x15" and I'd get a solid square-shaped one made out of leather/faux leather.

I have a small wallet shoulder bag 🙂 Made from both leather and fabric. Ivory and white in color. I'm not wearing black though. Hope this helps! 🙂

I am asian and am pretty petite...I wouldn't want my handbag outdoing me 🙂.

You don't need to bring a notebook. But if you want to bring one, I'd get one of those tote bags. I think that limited bag looks nice.

I know what you mean though... I'm also a small petite Asian girl. It looks really funny when small petite people carry big purses around. Personally, I'm not bringing a notebook and I'm wearing a small wallet sized shoulder purse. 🙂

As for a clutch... I'm not so sure about that. I guess it depends on the style. But to me, clutches seem... more suited for a formal party like a wedding or something. I, personally, wouldn't feel comfortable bringing a clutch. 🙂

The only reason I don't want to bring a clutch or small purse is because I hear that they give you papers at the interview. Either way though, I bet you a lot of people will be carrying the papers around and it's no big deal. This is probably just personal preference - I tend to get nervous if I only have a small bag...need to make sure I have tissues, cell phone, hair clip, directions to school...you get it 😳

Personally, I love a girl with good style. I always tend to notice girls shoes as well; says a lot about a girl. However, Christian Louboutin makes shoes that are too damn expensive if you ask me lol. Even then, if you can afford them already, why go into dentistry 😀
