My undergrad didn't. And it bothers me sooo much. I've heard UF does, and I'd like to assume Texas does (you'd probably know better), but TX just has a phenomenal program in place for TX residents, so they're lucky no matter what.
I think some privates would take their pre-dentals over others, but public schools aren't really allowed to do that I guess...but with the privates, its the networking that counts.

Not at all. You shouldn't make this assumption. Schools like diversity and that means students from all over the state, if it's a state school, or if it's a private school, they will take people from all over the country and even internationals.
