Does anyone have any tricks to keep glasses from sliding/slipping downwards during surgery? I'm extremely myopic so the lenses are really heavy and normally I just keep pushing it up all day, but scrubbed in that obviously can't happen.

Or get a safety strap.

Get glasses that fit

1. Glasses that fit better.
2. Glasses that have an adjustable nose piece that you tighten enough to make them not slip.
3. Contacts.
4. Grampa-style strap.

I don't fold up the edges of the cap, so I can pull it down and kind of slant it back all the way, so that the earpieces of my glasses sit under them. That or I trap them underneath the ties of the surgical mask and tie the top tie on top of my head at the longest/thickest part of my skull. It's hard to describe.

I used tape, and/or a strap (croakies) until I got very light titanium rimless frames which feel weightless and almost never move out of place. A bigger problem is glasses fogging. Some of the masks come with tape or a plastic strip built in, which helps with fogging. However, I will almost always use some 1" paper tape along the upper edge of the mask to help prevent fogging. This is essential if you'll be wearing loupes.
