I'm curious as to whether you guys think that they are really going to go public. They've given virtually every member 50 invites, and now are adding a gig to all accounts.

Me encanta gmail. He dejado de usar Yahoo.

They will conquer and monopolise the net very soon!! 😀
Long live Google!

I doubt they'll make it public. The invite system is a good way to control expansion and helps deter fake accounts from popping up to spam people. I have yet to receive spam from a Gmail account.

If they made it public, they'd probably max out in a day and crash and burn.

Just curious.... any thoughts on Gmail Privacy issues ?

There seems to be many credible consumer rights organizations that have concerns w/ Gmail.

They can't all be paranoid??

There's a strong rumor on the net that they will make "public" in the next two months.
