How did you study using the DAT Destroyer?

Example: The 2010 version has 377 bio questions. Did you go through all 377 questions, and THEN review each solution/answer?

OR...

Did you do split up the questions...let's say...you do 40 questions, and then immediately go over the solutions/answers?
Then do the next 40, then the next 40...etc etc???

I assigned myself problems to do in each section per day. Then I would answer a question or provide as much knowledge as I can before I look at the answer after I attempted a question. Then I tried not to be passive and pretend like I get it when I know later on I wont lol. So I made a word doc for each section and I wrote something for each question -- key points that would help me answer it in the future. In the beg I tried to just answer what I know then check, but I felt that I was just marking questions, telling myself I'll look at the answers later lol. Dont do that. That's just the first time around.

Second time around I will do the same thing but add on to my old notes and mark the question.

The third time around I will just go over the ones I missed. I also take a mental note on topics thats I frequently miss.

Look at my blog if you wanna get a better sense of how I used destroyer.

I got my DAT in under 4 weeks :xf:

My way: 10 days for a run through
Per Day:
22-OC Problems
23-GC Problems
36-Bio Problems

I do a page at a time, for Bio its like 6 questions, for the others its 3-4. Then I look at my results so im not flipping to the back every 5 minutes.

Splitting up the question and working them in a manner of
Biology 40
General Chemistry 30
Organic Chemistry 30
you are preparing your brain to work this way from the get go. It can come handy when you start taking your practice exams and specially your DAT.

First time around DAT Destroyer is very difficult so do what you can do but I wouldn't recommend doing anything less than 25 for Biology and 15 for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Once you get a feel of what type of questions or second time going through, catch the pace.

I kinda just skipped around the book for practice. If I saw that it was difficult I moved on. Destroyer is only good for math and maybe bio. Chem and Ochem is not an accurate portrayal of the questions on the real thing. It's easier, but it does require not falling for easy traps.
