The unofficial word from the local police is “an apparent suicide”. Found having fallen/jumped from one of the parking ramps. Very tragic. Such a nice guy.

I knew this young physician personally, having worked with him for many years. He was an outstanding, funny, and kind person. Truly an amazing individual. This is a tragic loss and is devastating to the Rochester MN, Mayo Clinic, Pain Medicine, PM&R, and more, communities. We are heartbroken.

I normally spend most of my time in the lounge, but pulled this up as I figured he may have posted in here in the past. He was my best friend, closest colleague, and my golf and vacation partner, and we are entirely heartbroken. Thank you all for thinking of him, his wife, and their future son.
