Hi, I just read some threads that there are some people finish their osteopathic medicine program and later buy md title from caribbean.

Is this really possible?

Let's say you already passed the USMLE I, II, and III.

No, it's not possible.

If it is possible, it's fraud.

What you may have heard of is that in NY, physicians who have an MBBS or other foreign equivalent degree and are licensed (which means they completed a residency) can apply to be allowed to use MD instead of MBBS: NYS Medicine:Conferral of M.D. Degree This is only in NY, and honestly of minimal impact (although appears to only take a form and $300, so minimal work also).
