I am 24 years old I went to college fresh out of high school got good grades in all my classes I was into computer programming, I drop out after my first year found that the computer field wasnt for me.

Now I want to go back to school to be in the medical field I have sat down and thought it out an realized that this is what I want to do honestly will this be a hard task to accomplish? will medical schools look at me different because I didnt go straight into medicine? and also is going to a four year college like Baptist college of health science good enough or will it ned to be some other type of university?

Thanks for any advice you all offer !!!!!!

Read this forum .... career changing isn't all that abnormal these days and any college where you did your classes is fine. There are doctors in all sorts of bachelor degree fields. Just make sure you have your prereqs and get the necessary experience of shadowing/volunteer/research and make sure this is what you want. :luck:

I don't think a bachelor's degree from a health science college would be a bad thing however make sure the college offers the classes you must take to get into med school. I know the health science colleges here locally don't offer the prereq classes. Good luck.
