Hi everyone!
I just wanted to share a few thoughts before Decision Day.
Tomorrow is a big day. For some of you, it may be a day you've been eagerly waiting for, and for others, it may not feel as exciting.
First, congratulations to those who will receive decisions tomorrow! I know how hard you've worked to get to this point, and you should be proud of your efforts. Remember to thank the people who have supported you throughout your journey, and take some time off to travel or relax, as once school starts, it can be hard to find that time again.
For those who haven't heard back yet or haven't received an interview, I understand how you feel. It can be tough when you're still waiting, especially as others may have already had pre-December interviews. But I want to remind you that Decision Day doesn't mean much if you haven't been interviewed yet. Dental school is a long journey, and tomorrow is just the beginning of that journey for some of you.
As someone who applied late (around late August/early September), I want to reassure you that it’s still early in the cycle. I had one pre-December interview, one interview invite in February, and another in March. It's not over until it's over! Don't give up or get discouraged—there’s still plenty of time, and the marathon really begins in July or August.
Good luck to everyone!
