I have a 2 br apartment approx 15 minutes away from Albany Medical College (or Albany College of Pharmacy). My boyfriend is being deployed on July 1st, so the room is open any time after that, until August 2012 (you can stay as many months as you want). My school shares the same space as AMC, so I'm sure we can carpool on occasion to save on gas.
I am a student. I don't party. I rarely have people over. I'm not hard to live with
If you want to have friends over, that's fine. When the bf is on leave he'll be coming back home for a few days. I also MIGHT have a relative stay for a day or two.
Our apartment is pretty big for the area, and your bedroom will be 11' x 12'. We have a spare bed in there, but it's old so if you want to buy a new one, feel free. We also have a spare desk if you so desire. The rest of the apartment is furnished.
We have 3 ferrets. They do have a smell, but I don't find it to be that bad. Currently, they're being kept in the spare room, but if you move in they will be put in the common area. We also have a lot of storage in that room, so we will probably have to use some of the common area space for it (my room is full 😛).
Anyways, because you will be living surrounded by our stuff, the rent is going to be $350(total $780) + 1/2 of the electricity bill (summers ~ 100, winters ~ 180 (did hit $240 once wtf??)). Cable, internet, and water are free.
