Going to Canada as a DO

Does anyone know if there are any limitations or restrictions of being a DO and working in Ontario in any specialty? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The licensure and practice rights of DOs in Canada is determined by the individual provinces. But to more directly answer your question, DOs have full practice rights in Ontario as of 2003.

I may be wrong, but I believe DO's have full practicing rights IF they do a ACGME residency only in Ontario. They do not recognize a AOA residency. Keep this in mind.
