how in the hell is everybody handling this? i hate traveling, and i'm totally screwing the pooch this quarter in school. its sad, i used to be so protective of my gpa, now i'd be thrilled with straight B's. 🙄

does anybody currently interviewing (or who has interviewed in the past) have any pointers for how to stay afloat in school during this part of the process? it feels like i'm taking a full-time course-load of distance learning.

by the way, if anyone looks at my MDApp profile and says "look at your gpa. boo hoo," kiss my ass. i'm asking for advice, not bitter whining.

thanks in advance,
sd

My personal theory is screw class, interviews are much more important.

Same here, if I get straight C's this semester, i'd be happy. Well assuming I get an acceptance this year that is 😀

I'd use that clock to get in on the sweetest stocks, no loans for me! And if the SEC comes, i'll show em the clock.

come on man, you never went to class when you had nothing to do... why change things now when you have a hectic schedule filled with interviews?

Or you could always do what I do and just be a part time student.....3 credits baby 😀

i have no idea. i really wanted to go there, too. 🙁 i guess they had already filled their interview quota of caucasian, male bio majors from suburban, middle-class neighborhoods in the midwest. 😉

i *really* wanted to do this, but my pre-med advisor said it would be a huge mistake. she's usually right, so i listened. hopefully it doesn't kill me. 👍

I feel your pain. I'm already hurting after my first round of exams. I hope I get accepted this go-around, so my grades this semester won't come back to haunt me.
