So my transcripts just came in and I'm going to submit my app this weekend. I want to ensure my app gets verified so I double checked my courses to make sure they were entered right. At my school I took a few classes that the grade was S. Meaning satisfactory so I marked those as credit/no credit. Will that be a problem? I also have classes where the grade was CR which is credit/no credit as well.

Are there any things I should review or be careful about to ensure that I get verified and have no problems. I'm hoping I can get verified in July.

Contact your registrar to clarify. My suspicion is that the classes with the S grade are not considered credit/no credit and you should probably not mark it as such, but your school's registrar should be able to help you with that.

From online

"For an activity course or a course in which the instructor elects to grade students only on a satisfactory/no credit basis, the ‘S’ represents performance that is "satisfactory" and equivalent to letter grade of ‘C-’ or better. For such a course, no letter grades may be assigned for satisfactorily completed work."

So it's not a letter grade and does not change my GPA. Should I just write S? without marking the Credit/No Credit box.

I would just enter S. I think when all else fails, copying everything EXACTLY as they appear on your official transcript is always a safe bet.

K, thanks. I'm probably just overthinking it.

This is just what I did for my S and HP classes last cycle. Had no problems with it - AMCAS didn't edit those grades at all.

Cool. Good to hear that.

I had an S on my transcript. I put it in as S. They translated the AMCAS grade to P and it was fine.
