Hi all,

I came across this website...
boardprep.net

Has anyone bought their software and if so, did u like it?

Is anyone selling their older versions of this software?

Thanks.

I bought it as a first year since I end up driving about 2.5 hours each way over the weekends. It was good, and I'm glad I bought it since I was in the car for so long, but I'm not sure that I would pay so much for it again. The yield/$$ ratio was probably low. On the other hand, I do terribly in lectures (don't really get much out of them) but this was much, much better (I answer out loud and that seems to work for me). I probably won't be driving as much as a second year, but I'll use it to review...

I'd agree that the yield to cost ratio is pretty low (at least it was when I used it years ago). The amount of time spent on each topic is highly variable and seemed to have little relationship to that actually tested on the boards. In addition, I found several mistakes and some tapes had pretty poor quality with some incredibly sonorous, poor "public" speakers on them.

If you can split the costs with a few other people it might be worth it, but unless things have changed or you're spending a lot of time in the car, I would stick with other more reliable resources.

Tried them for Step 1, loved them. Used the tapes as a guide for my studying, referenced books only when the tapes were not clear, and got a 228.
